DRAPERY INSTEAD OF WAVE

I'll tell you a little about this picture. Initially, I planned to paint a sea wave on this canvas. I started with underpainting in wave color. But I put off work for months. The desire to return to paint the seascape did not appear.

I was already thinking about a picture with a drapery and a blanket. I needed a canvas measuring 50x100cm, but I didn't want to wait until the new roll of canvas I ordered came. So I decided to try to paint over the underpainting with a new layer without a primer. Everything turned out well, moreover, perhaps the upper part of the picture will remain such a greenish tint. I don't know what the finished painting will look like and that's why I like it 😍
